• Paper and Palm is a small stationery design studio in the heart of Canada, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Paper and Palm was born out of a passion for all things paper. As we grew deeper in love with paper, printing and design, we began to embrace more traditional ways of doing things by exploring the depths of papermaking and letterpress printing.

Our goal is to create with intention and go beyond the notion of “just paper.”

  • Paula Camille Sancho is the founder and the designer of Paper and Palm Design Studio. Although her professional background is in Environmental Design and Landscape Architecture, she extends her love for design towards stationery and paper goods.

She would describe her style as minimalistic with a mix of adoration for both vintage and modern stationery. She believes that we should take advantage of paper’s capabilities to tell a story.

  • Maggie.
Our beloved Chandler & Price letterpress machine who is estimated to be about 101 years old. She is the heart of our letterpress operation and our main printer for our full custom and semi custom stationery. She has travelled across the country to Manitoba and have lived her previous life in British Columbia adoringly used by another Canadian artist until her retirement.

    Preston.

Our small but mighty Craftsman Tabletop Letterpress machine. He is estimated to be about 50-70 years old. Preston was our first machine that has lived his previous life in Salt Lake City. He now lives with us in the prairies helping out with smaller projects such as greeting cards, business cards, tags and personal stationery.

    George.
Our desktop laser cutter and probably our most high-tech piece of equipment. He is in charge of all things wood and acrylic. Aside from our digital printer, our laser cutter is one of our most used machines. George helps us in creating things such as signage, table numbers, place cards and more.
